Just the number for perfect skin. Far from the traditional facial elswhere in the Bay Area, every aspect of these facials is tailored specifically to your skin type and your skin's needs. In addition to an examination of the skin, deep pore cleansing, cleansing, oxygen wrap, calming mask, oodles of massage, and recommendations on keeping your skin looking fabulous between facials, the Tru O2 adds two blasts of pure oxygen – one post extraction to neutralize bacteria, and one in coordination with a finishing vitamin boost.
At the start of your TruO2 your esthetician will give you the option of the full facial massage - about 10 minutes - or an abbreviated massage to allow time for a single area L.E.D. light therapy treatment. L.E.D. therapy has a myriad of uses/benefits, so if selected we will address any problem areas of your skin, or if there are no glaring issues to be addressed we will do the eye area to promote healthy cell growth and prevent or eliminate the wrinkles around the eye area.
This facial has become a San Francisco phenomenon since the moment we opened, primarily due to the amazing effects of the oxygen, which reduces that post-facial-redness, neutralizes that pesky bacteria that can account for post-facial break outs, stimulates production of collagen and elastin, increases circulation to the skin, and aids in the absorption of vital nutrients. | What to Expect: |
You will be picked up by your esthetician promptly at your appointment time, so it is a good idea to arrive 15 to 20 minutes early for your treatment in order to check in, change into a robe, fill out a client consultation form, and relax a bit in our lounge, where we offer complimentary snacks, bottled water, and champagne. We offer shower facilities and if you want to shower we recommend doing it before your facial and to take that into account when planning your arrival time. A very small number of people may experience some slight redness after a facial, but it should not last long and most people go right back to work, out to dinner, etc. |
